「若為十方諸佛速來摩頂授記者，當於頂上化佛手。」
As explained in the text the practice of this mudra is designed to ensure speedy attainment of Buddhaood.
佛，不在遙遠的寺廟，
厚重的大部頭經典裡，
當我們一念慈悲、一念覺醒
佛，遠在天邊近在眼前
就在我們心裡
掃清心頭塵埃就是佛，
發現自性光明就是佛，
自度度人就是佛。
為什麼必能成佛？
因為我們本來就是佛！
Buddha is not found in a distant temple,
Nor in the weighty tomes of Buddhist scriptures.
When for a single moment we practice compassion and awakening,
Buddha is far away in heaven, yet right before our eyes –
Within our hearts.
The one that can sweep away the mind’s debris, is Buddha.
The one that can see the bright original nature of the self, is Buddha.
The one that tries to spiritually elevate the self and others, is Buddha.
How can we all become Buddha?
It is because in actuality,
We already house a Buddha within us!
【祝福】
我們的生命中，不乏各式各樣的預言，但有人預言你會成佛嗎？
佛經中記載，善男子善女人若經諸佛摩頂授記，將來必然證悟成佛。摩頂授記，用白話說，就是諸佛摸頭加持祝福，預言此人將來一定會成佛。由於是佛在作這個預言，真是無上的榮耀和祝福。
學佛的修行人，無不嚮往這樣的授記。頂上化佛手，就是藉由千手千眼觀世音菩薩的願力和加持，祈願因為我們的精進和善行，終能創造這樣的殊勝因緣，得到十方諸佛的摩頂授記。
但頂上化佛手也是種提醒，諸佛豈會隨便授記？除非我們已經俱足成佛的條件，除非我們能在修行基本功上打穩根基，老實修行，敬畏因果，諸惡莫作，眾善奉行，勤修六度萬行，觀照當下每個念頭，否則，談授記，還早呢！
