舌如蓮花，一說話
就令人歡喜，就令人安心
祈願所有使用語言作橋樑的人
訴說之前懂得傾聽
訴說之時記得祝福
訴說之後常結善緣
如此，語言會是一株蓮
永遠幫你結善緣
Language,
Is one of the contributions of The Buddhas.
The tongue is like the pure lotus
Speaking
It bring happiness and peace of mind.
Let us pray that all who use language as a bridge
Understand the importance of listening before speaking.
Remember to bless as you speak
And remember to follow your words with good deeds.
This done, language becomes as the lotus,
Aiding in the creation of good karma.

語言，真是一把雙面刃。用得善巧，它是好幫手、巧妙的工具；用得拙劣，它就是個大麻煩，一不留神就傷人自傷。
話說得好，是「舌燦蓮花」，彷彿嘴裡開出一朵蓮花，吐出的盡是清淨和芬芳；話說得不好，語言就變成口裡吐出的毒蛇，辭不達意還算小事，引起別人的貪嗔癡，誘發心裡的黑暗面，那罪過可大了。所以佛家稱語言造成的問題為「口業」。當語言引來了傷害及痛苦，不要急著說，不要搶著說，而是要想一下再說。
寶印手是種祝福，祈願我們都能柔軟善巧，善用語言功德，廣結善緣。寶印手也是種提醒，語言出口的時候，都要讓它清淨美麗如蓮，別讓毒蛇從嘴裡爬出來！
